Where Vivetra is the weaker choice — on purpose or not
A comparison you can only lose by hiding. Here are the ones that matter across the whole family:
- No built-in payment processing, anywhere in the product. The software your clinic uses won’t swipe a client’s card for you — you keep the processor you already have. Many competitors bundle this in. We don’t, and it’s a permanent design choice, not a coming-soon.
- We’re newer than the incumbents. Some names in the table have shipped for decades. Vivetra is a newer vendor with a shorter track record — real, and worth weighing against a flat price and unlimited staff.
- Service-specific gaps are stated on each service’s own page. No native mobile app (PWA only), no public online-booking widget for boarding yet, no Petfinder/Adopt-a-Pet syndication for shelters yet — each one is spelled out where it belongs, not buried.

Why does Vivetra say "No" to built-in payment processing?
Because it's true, and we'd rather say it here than let you find out in a demo. Vivetra has no built-in processing for the payments your practice collects from its own clients — you pair it with whatever processor you already use. (That is unrelated to the checkout you use to pay your own Vivetra subscription.)
Does the flat price really include unlimited staff and hosting?
Yes. Vivetra is fully managed for you: one flat monthly price covers shared-core plus your first service, unlimited doctors and staff, and fully managed hosting — you never touch a server, patch an OS, or restore a backup yourself.
